Five *** Featured Taste of Home Tomato Recipes

Caprese Appetizer Bites (couldn't find on website but was in magazine)
  • 24 grape tomatoes
  • 12 cherry-size fresh mozzarella cheese balls
  • 24 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 TB olive oil
  • 2 TB balsamic vinegar
  • On each of 12 wooden appetizer skewers, alternately thread 2 tomatoes, one cheese ball and 2 basil leaves. Put on a serving plate.  In a small bowl whisk oil and vinegar together and then drizzle over the kabobs just before serving.
