Wow, look above at all of the ingredients!! Scary.
We baked the pizza according to directions for 21 minutes with added green pepper and onions.
The bottom of the pizza dough was crispy and and the top of the dough was doughy. As with all other frozen foods it was a bit salty. See the added salt above. There was enough salt in the meats so no other salt should have been added.
Box says 2400 mg. of sodium.
Site says 1,000.
That is more than you should eat in one day!!
Site is misleading as to how much sodium. Do the math! If one serving (1/5 of pizza) equals 1,000 mg. of sodium then the whole pizza should be 5,000 mg. of sodium?
- 1000Milligrams Sodium
What should YOUR DAILY SODIUM intake be? The American Heart Association recommends no more than 2,300 milligrams (mg) a day and moving toward an ideal limit of no more than 1,500 mg per day for most adults.
It comes in a pizza pan but don't let that fool you!! The pan was wimpy after it was baked so you really need a real pizza pan to put the panned pizza on!
My husband doesn't like doughy.
I put up with it!!
Froze the leftovers but they probably won't get eaten.
My mistake: Didn't read amount of sodium on package before I bought. The packaging roped me in.
