PRODUCT REVIEW: Deans Guacamole Dip versus Jamie Deen's Real recipe for Guacamole Dip



When you are shopping did  you ever buy a product you don't like and 
in that senior moment buy it!  This is it!!  Bought this 20 some years ago and hated it then.  Tried it twice because I thought maybe I got a bad batch.  

I have
  • eaten in many Mexican restaurants
  • made my own avocado or guacamole dip from scratch
  • have tried the package mixes found at grocery store that you add mashed avocados to
  • have tried Wholly Guacamole in big packages 
  • and love the mini packages that you can freeze and use as you need!1
This product is disgusting!! Opened it today (again I had a senior moment when I bought it) and ate a little and threw away.
  • Consistency good
  • Moisture content good
  • After taste AWFUL
  • ALMOST TASTES RANCID but this is the exact taste I remember from 20 years ago
  • I am a food blogger, love food, prepare food and can remember tastes from years ago.
DISGUSTING!!
